BallistiX
From simple to complex systems
BallsitiX is our new platform for 3D simulators. It is developed for use with external equipment like projectors and position tracking devices like laser based weapon tracking systems. It can of course also be used on a regular PC without any extra equipment.
Modular design
BallistiX is a modular system where every part of the simulator is easy to extend or replace. This makes the core of the simulator the same regardless of whether it is used for an entertaining hunting simulator or military training.
Wild Prey
The first product we are developing on this platform is a hunting and shooting simulator called Wild Prey. Here you can practice hunting and shooting at animals in their natural surroundings. Bear, wild boar and moose are initially available, The animals move very naturally and reacts when shot at. They get injured and die when the wounds are severe enough.
Wild Prey introduces a very advanced behaviour and injury system that is used for the animals.The physical as well as the mental status of each individual animal is affected by the environment, events, injuries, age, gender and so on. The system is very flexible and different levels of realism can be achieved and customized to the specification of the user.
